Master of Science in Forensic Psychology - Threat Assessment and Management

National University’s Master of Science in Forensic Psychology with a specialization in Risk and Threat Assessment and Management examines elements of risk and threat assessment and management, including elements related to applied profiling, the use of assessment tools, interviewing and information gathering, risk factors and mitigation strategies, and team processes for different types of risk and threat including violence, stalking, sexual dangerousness, workplace and school violence, or other areas of targeted violence. You will focus on the application of psychological principles, research, and diagnostic and assessment tools within forensic environments. This program requires you to review key components that are critical for the exam to become a Certified Threat Manager (CTM) with the Association of Threat Assessment Professionals (ATAP), which you may wish to take as part of your professional career.
