There is an emphasis on servant leadership and professional ethics in the behavioral health field. Licensed counselors, therapists, social workers and psychiatric nurses are welcome to apply to the EdD degree program.

In GCU’s qualitative organizational leadership - doctor of behavioral health degree, students will personally examine events to better understand an observed phenomenon. In doing this, they will develop expertise in the development of a research study and gain insight into how and why people think, believe and behave. This differs from GCU’s quantitative program which focuses on developing expertise in the creation of a sampling plan and in the collection of data.
