Such competencies are essential to successfully navigating diverse cultures, economic, educational, and political systems, national historical narratives, religions, and even geographic zones. This certificate program is a three-course sequence at the Master’s level for students and professionals, in the U.S. and abroad, who seek to acquire or further develop the basic attitudes, knowledge, and skills essential to address crises and disasters that traumatize vulnerable populations.

The certificate is particularly beneficial for mental health professionals, school teachers, and school administrators.
